(1)Question: It says that it is adjustable. I tried to twist it at the base and all it does is open the thing. Where exactly is the adjustable part?
Answer: The way you can adjust the coarseness is to twist the knob at the bottom where the pepper comes out.
(2)Question: How do you wash this before you use it?
Answer:I just wiped mine down with a wet cloth then let it air dry for a couple of hours.
(3)Question: I often need to grind large amounts of pepper for bbq spice rubs, sometimes up to one cup. can this grinder handle it?
